I have written in the past about CMJ, MGU, EIILM, Swami Vivekanand, Manav Bharti, Shobhit and many such other private university and their degree scam. Despite of clearly writing in the blog people are asking same question again and again to me. To be very frank and to reiterate my statement again, I do not prefer to respond such degree buyers whereas my whole intention is to make people aware and let them help in making informed decision.
Let me clarify few points first
1. A university is a university and any university can offer distance educationNo, it is not completely true. Only central universities have more power then to the state universities. Private and deemed universities cannot offer any course outside its campus even in the distance mode.
2.
Corporate just need a degree, they do not care from where is itIt is completely false. I do not know about others, but in my entire HR career, it matters. Resume is first step in your shortlisting for job. Few organisation have defined universities list from where they want to accept the candidates, they even reject C grade and lower universities. Apart from that, they also make blacklisted universities. Due to degree scam only many MNCs blacklisted EIILM and CMJ. For me also, I'll prefer a student from YCMOU and IGNOU over distance education degree of private universities.
Now let me explain the degree scam of Shridhar University.

is a private technical university at
Pilani in Rajasthan, India. Founded in 2010 as Shridhar Polytechnic by Sarvhit Trust (Meerut), a nonprofit welfare organization formed in 2008 by Vijay Pal Yadav. Shridhar University is Self-financed University established by the Government of Rajasthan, notified by UGC under Section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956
Is it accredited by NAACNo, not so far and even it has not send the mandatory data to UGC
What is the restriction imposed on this university while offering degree?Well, this university cannot offer degree outside its campus in any mode- full time, part time, distance, off campus, industry integrated or any other mode. It has to take exam in its campus only, it cannot take exam in other cities also. It cannot appoint any agent or franchisee or study centre such qualifications will be invalid. Only programmes offered in its campus with necessary approval from all bodies like AICTE, NCTE etc. stands valid. Its distance engineering degree diplomas are summarily invalid as AICTE has put ban on offering engineering qualifications through distance mode.

If you are buying these short degrees for employment it may or may not be accepted in private sector and in public sector, it will be summarily rejected. For higher education it stands invalid too.

Shridhar university is involved in high degree scam. It has appointed various agents to sell its degrees, it has also opened exam centre all over India. All such qualifications are invalid and students and public at large need to be careful.
